Why ‘Red Cave’?
Well, mostly because I’m a pretentious ass. Having attended a liberal arts college, I must have read Plato’s ‘The Allegory of the Cave’ about a billion times. (Did you read the Wikipedia entry? Good.) When the prisoner finally leaves the cave, and gets a load of the real world, he becomes enlightened. But, how does he know? He looks back to the cave, and recognizes it for what it was: a cruel sham. At that moment of full realization, the former prisoner sees in his wake a red cave, lighted by the fire still burning within it.
That’s kind of what it’s like when you realize there are more efficient ways to run your law firm.
(Just don’t go back into the cave.)
